About Shane

Shane Brown is a candidate for Keene City Council – Ward 5, with deep family roots and a lifelong commitment to the Keene community. His grandmother lived on Hart Place for many years, his mother graduated from Keene High School, and Shane spent much of his childhood here—weekends, holidays, and school vacations filled with memories in Keene. His family history in the area stretches back six generations, including his 6th great-grandfather, Colonel Isaac Wyman, a key figure in New Hampshire’s early history.

Shane is married and the proud father of four grown children, a grandfather to one granddaughter, and “dog dad” to Charlie (a Yochon mix) and Daisy (a St. Bernard). He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Communication at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). Professionally, Shane has built a successful career in e-commerce and business management, overseeing multi-million-dollar operations with a focus on fiscal responsibility and long-term planning.
